Monthly Rhythm
1st Sunday – Spiritual Formation
On these Sundays, we’ll engage in a contemplative exercise intended to deepen our spiritual formation. You can expect things like lectio divina, centering prayer, and meditation on scripture. We will usually end with communion and discussion.
2nd & 4th Sundays – Traditional Liturgy
These Sundays are likely more of what you’re used to: musical worship, sermon, and communion. We also have a livestream option available on these Sundays.
3rd Sunday – Brunch Church
During brunch church, we enjoy a meal together and are led in a discussion of a passage of scripture (called a dialogical sermon form). This is much more casual with a great deal of focus on fellowship, food, and group discernment. We will end with communion together. Since the format is different and geared toward dialog, we will not have a livestream on these Sundays.
5th Sunday – Something Different
Every 5th Sunday, you can expect something different. Sometimes we visit other communities; other times we merely sing songs, read scripture, and recite prayers together. Come expecting something different!

Children Are Always Welcome!
We don’t have a separate nursery or children’s programming during the service because we believe it is appropriate and beneficial for children to be in the services with us as much as possible. Don’t worry about babies crying, or little ones moving about the room. It's fine for kids to wiggle, whisper, have a snack, or use anything from the shelves in our children’s corner to help them stay quietly occupied.

We used to. But in an effort to simplify Sunday mornings, we eliminated the lights, cameras, and computers.
You can catch up on sermons and spiritual formation exercises on our YouTube Channel.

What a great and intricate question! And it's worthy of long dinners or drinks or coffees... a lifetime of discovery.
In lieu of that, here's what we can simply say.
We place our trust in the Holy Mystery, who sustains all that is, is uniquely revealed through Jesus and actively present among us in the Spirit. That’s the center we’re drawn toward. Many of our members see the center as God. Others see the center as an X marking the spot or a simple cross. Still others see it differently. Regardless of your name for it, we all agree that it is Love both pulling us toward the center and propelling us outward.

Right now, we are non-denominational. We may not be this way forever; however, we won't rule it out.
This community was affiliated with Vineyard Association of Churches for 20 years, but this relationship ended in 2021. There's more to the story which we'd love to tell over a coffee.
